Stanbic IBTC Bank USSD code – transfer money

Stanbic has two different USSD codes to transfer money. One code is used to transfer money to other Stanbic Bank accounts, while the other is used to transfer money to other banks within Nigeria.

  • Dial *909*11*amount*account Number# – for transferring to another Stanbic IBTC account.
  • Dial *909*22*amount*account Number# – for transferring to other bank accounts in Nigeria.

Quick Example: To send 10,000 Naira to a Stanbic Bank account number, say – 0876454586.

  • Dial *909*11*10000*0876454586#. Then confirm with your PIN.

Another Example: To send 10,000 Naira to another bank’s account number, say – 0074454586.

  • Dial *909*22*10000*0074454586#. Then insert your PIN.

The above method is quick. If it doesn’t work at all, use this method.

Quick Example: To recharge your phone line with N4,000 airtime.

Stanbic Bank IBTC USSD code – check account balance

This one is straightforward – dial 9091*1#.

Alternatively, you can download the Stanbic Bank mobile app, which is available in app stores, to save yourself from remembering these USSD shortcode codes each time. You only need to have a smartphone and internet connection. Nevertheless, the USSD shortcode works with any phone that makes calls and without the internet.
