How did Melia and Eric Meet?
Eric was 53 years old when he met Melia McEnery, who was then a 25-year-old administrative assistant at a firm.
They two met in 1998 at a night party that was for Eric after he’d made a stunning performance in Columbus City, Ohio.
Clapton tenderly describes meeting McEnery, a 1995 Bishop Watterson High School graduate, at a West Coast party: “I found her, our eyes locked, and I got that smile again. . . . It just felt honest and great.”
